About Us

Mark Bezuidenhout BCom CPA PP – Audit Director – Shareholder

I initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa through KPMG -Johannesburg Office and subsequently spent a number of years in various Corporate Internal Audit Departments. From 2002 to 2004 I operated my own accounting and taxation practice prior to emigration to New Zealand in March 2004.

I work under the international body CPA (Certified Practicing Accountant) Australia and hold a Public Practitioners Certificate and Qualified Auditor status under this body.

Joining the precursor firm to JSA Audit Limited in April 2006, I’ve been involved in all aspects of the audit and review process of our growing client base in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.

My passion is with auditing and review work as it allows me the opportunity to meet new people, interact with various levels of staff in the organisation and provide realistic and practicable recommendations to help improve their internal control environments.

When not at work, I do enjoy spending time with the family, socializing and sharing a bottle of wine with friends around the BBQ. I also occasionally find the opportunity to network with others on the golf course.

Connie Acosta – Auditor

I gained my bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Philippine School of Business Administration in October 2014 and Diploma in Accounting from Concordia Institute of Business, in December 2019. I took the board licensure examination a year later after completing my bachelor’s degree in Philippines and became a CPA in October 2015.

My career began as an external auditor at KMPG Philippines where I worked in the financial services unit of the firm handling Non-For-Profit and Non-Governmental Organizations.

I moved to the banking industry where I became a pioneering accounting associate for a Taiwanese bank in Philippines. I set up the bank’s accounting system and assisted with the drafting of policies and manuals.

I enjoy working at JSA Audit, every day there’s something new to learn.

During lockdown, I picked up a new hobby, painting though my skills aren’t that great yet but I really enjoy it. I also enjoy travelling, exploring new restaurants and watching thriller and murder mysteries.
